What is Water Metering solution?

Our IoT solution for remote water metering is an integrated system with a battery-powered device that can last up to 5 years. The device is connected to a low-power LTE network, and it sends data to a custom-designed IoT platform called QData. QData is designed for water monitoring and management, and with its AI algorithm, it is able to send alarm notifications if it detects overconsumption.

The platform also provides real-time data insights, allowing users to monitor and manage their water usage and alert them of any irregularities. In addition, the solution offers an end-to-end security protocol which encrypts data at every step of the process and also provides authentication to ensure only authorized users can access the data.

The solution is also very cost-effective, as it does not require expensive infrastructure for installation and maintenance. This makes it an ideal solution for remote water metering.

IoT wakes up every 24 hours and reports (send) water quantity that has went through the water meter at 15 minute buffer intervals.

Water Leak

Meanwhile it detects if the water quantity is higher than predefined value to send alarm to findy IoT platform as it might means water leak.
