Water management
Open channel flow metering
Open flow optimization

What is open channel flow metering?
Not all water travels in pipes. Canals, irrigation ditches, drainage channels and stormwater outfalls all carry water open to the air. Measuring how much passes through them is open channel flow metering.
The usual method is simple. A weir or flume is placed in the channel to shape the flow. Then you measure how high the water rises, which is called the “head.” Because the structure has a known shape, that one level reading converts into a flow rate. That makes it a level measurement first and a flow figure second.
findyIoT adds remote reading to the channels and structures you already have. Our LTE Logger with Ultrasonic sensor mounts above the water and measures level without touching it. If you already have a level probe or flow meter installed, the LTE Counter + 4-20mA Input connects to it and puts it online.
We also work with partners to build specialized custom sensors for use cases where ground conditions are not suitable, but the data still needs to be collected.
